Water Restrictions Reduced – Stage 1

STARTING ON THURSDAY APRIL 25TH, 2024 – UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Stage 1 response – Mild water shortage conditions.

(A)Target: Achieve a voluntary 8% reduction in daily water demand.

(B) Best management practices for supply management: Public notices, reduced flushing of water mains.

(C) Voluntary water use restrictions for reducing demand:

(i) All operations of the city water system shall adhere to water use restrictions prescribed for stage 2 of   the plan.

(ii) Water customers are requested to practice water conservation and to minimize or discontinue water use for nonessential purposes.
